the computer i bought hurriedly upon my nov. 2000 arrival to the bay area was a basic hp setup, sadly afflicted with windows me. a ghastly, crashy rig. blue screens up the wazoo.
among its myriad charming peculiarities was a propensity for data sent to printer to yield page after page of twaddle.
i discovered, during a household archaeological dig, a small cache of the output hardcopy that’s been stashed away for, oh, hell, four or five years.
anyhow, surprised that i actually had kept this, it seemed the thing to do to at least make some manner of use out of it. hence the following.

Trippy.
The single line of type through each picture adds an entirely different dimension to the art. I particularly like the effect on the first and second images. The third has a SCHWA and needs no further embellishment – but, of course.
[dmb edit: many thanks! i think i was most pleased with the top one, myself. i may put it on a tshirt.]
